While we are on the subject of Utopia, the event was a success. We are really having a hard time getting people in the building before 12a, which has me thinking of creative ways to do so, but numbers are numbers and I am satisfied with the result. Me and the security staff can always get a game of craps going until the clock strikes 12.

Random thoughts resulting from the Tequila
Are we competing to see if we can set the Guiness World Record for the most all black affairs in one year? It’s getting out of hand.
I’m dreading going back to XP. No matter how much you backup and burn files there’s always something you forget like web bookmarks. Social bookmarking may be the answer. As transparent as I am though, having my bookmarks out there seems a little crazy.
Tequila is actually aight…
It’s amazing how many people want a couple of free VIP tickets.
I need to blog regularly.
I’m starting to see promoters doing some of the things we are doing. Follow the leader.
I wonder if I will still get in for free at the parties I used to get in freely at. Probably not. LOL
Call of Duty 5 is out. Selling the 360 was not a great idea….

Today I am up to my usual. I woke up at 6am to finalize the guest list, respond to emails, and read unread text messages (I’ll respond to them at a more appropriate time). There’s a light shower outside but I have no worries because it will just be a morning episode. The agenda for today is light. In fact, the agenda is the lighest it has been for me on an event day: Pick up my sister from airport, select champagne for the toasts, take care of catering, pick up a few supplies, and do what is as natural as breathing to me — promote at any opportunity that presents itself.
We will have a quality crowd of friends in attendance, both attractive men and women demonstrating the perfect balance of style and temperament. You can still get the $10 Advance VIP tickets for a few more hours at Culture19.com , Browz located in Crabtree mall, or Kuttin Edge Barbershop in Cary. Hit the website for location contact numbers to check availability and other useful information.
If you are in attendance be sure to come introduce yourself!
Utopia is the next event on deck for us. Marketing talk:
Utopia is a name for an ideal community possessing a seemingly perfect socio-politico-legal system. Bearing multiple meanings, most modern usage of the term “Utopia” describes that of a place of perfection rather than nonexistence. Plato, a Classical Greek philosopher, held a view that 10 was the perfect number on the basis of the hands containing 10 fingers.
Culture19 invites you to exerience a night of perfection on Saturday, November 8.
We are focusing on the ‘ten is perfection’ and offering special $10 advance VIP tickets, if you miss those then you can get $10 advance tickets by arriving before 11:10pm, Perfect 10 martini specials all night, a 10 glass champagne toast held 10 minutes after every hour, and our friends in attendance will be dressed to the 10’s. Don’t get it confused, this isn’t a formal ‘dress to the 10’s’ rather the ownage of your signature style.

All news on my blog has been occuring with a bit of delay, I know and I apologize for that. Masque was last Saturday, October 25th and we brought out a great crowd. Masque was especially important not only because it was the first event since leaving the cubicle farm environment and running Culture19 full-time, but it was also the first event with Culture19 on the ticket alone. After talking to a lot of the attendees I can really say the mission is resonating amongst the market and they are responding.

I am still awaiting the video, but once I receive it I’ll post it. In the meantime, heres a celebratory shot taken. Thanks to Shonda for putting that together!
I am slipping. This video was posted to Culture19’s Vimeo page over 2 weeks ago.

I found a local retail chain with great print rates, so I was able to get the tickets printed, and cut for the low-low. There is an ill Masque imprint in the ticket that is not visible in the picture, but is visible when you buy your tickets in advance! If you prefer more convenience hit Culture19.com and purchase your tickets.

I’ve always liked the Jae Millz song “On My Grind”, but unlike Millz I have still been in VIP. My grind is still on one hundred - thousand - trillion, however.
Today I finished up the trailer for MASQUE (Oct 25!)
